In collaboration with Emory University’s CancerQuest, the Cervical Cancer Foundation formerly the Spirit Foundation helped to develop a Web-based interactive experience, Cervical Cancer Awareness Town, to stimulate conversations about HPV and cervical cancer. The project was funded by a grant from the Prevent Cancer Organization. This virtual town brings the viewer into the homes, hospitals and churches of people dealing with the consequences of HPV infection and cervical cancer. It also helps parents and families learn how to discuss HPV with young adults. The program is bilingual, Spanish and English versions are available to serve the Latino/Hispanic population.
